Conversion Flywheel to convert BMW E36 M3

A Conversion Flywheel was developed by Ark Racing Limited in order to convert a BMW E36 M3 DMP set-up to an M5 Manual clutch.

This product has been designed, developed and manufactured in-house by Ark Racing Limited. Our conversion flywheel is made to the highest standards using high-grade steel, Nitride heat treatment with a Shot Peened surface treatment.

Developed and manufactured to professional motorsport standards keeping strength, durability and weight (mass) in mind.

Suitable for: BMW E36 M3 DMP set-up to M5 manual clutch.

Specification:
Material: 817M40T (Steel)
Heat Treatment: Nitride
Surface Treatment: Shot Peened
Starter Ring: Cut into the flywheel (Not a separate Ring Gear)
Mass: Lightweight version TBC Kg (TBC lb)

NOTE: *It is a myth that a lightweight flywheel gives you more power. It actually doesn’t!

What it does achieve is it reduces the rotating mass and inertia in your vehicle. The result is your engine isn’t using valuable horsepower spinning up a heavy flywheel, it’s going straight to your wheels onto the road which is where you need it, with the bonus of making your car lighter.
